21st century cybernetics: Cognition in the animal & the machine

Building and coordination of an interdisciplinary scientific research collaboration, including global thought leaders, towards “Bio-inspired Computation” anchoring my own work (cognition in Mitochondrial networks) in the emerging space and further catalysing the development of a more sustainable era of Bio-inspired AI development, with the objectives of raising a significant fund and the establishment of a Dedicated Research Organisation.

As a Leader of Technology and TechBio businesses, I have achieved three exits to US Nasdaq listed buyers and have had one failure. I have deep operating experience and have occupied every seat at the board table: Chairman, CEO, CFO, NXD and Investor Director, of both public and private companies, in the UK, US and Germany. I have often been described as a visionary leader and am highly experienced in identifying opportunities for strategic change/repositioning, galvanising/building the team to achieve business transformation, building the bridge to exit and negotiating the best possible exit. I am particularly interested and experienced in building and transforming intellectual property rich and impact orientated B2B businesses in the Sustainability, Deeptech, AI and Life Sciences arenas.
