Post-AGI world transition: Scenario analysis on post-AGI world power-sharing structure

When people imagine the arrival of transformative AI, they usually stop at the moment it arrives — who wins the race, whether we survive it. This project asks what comes after: how power actually gets divided once AGI exists, and who has a seat at the table when that settlement is made.

• History offers a handful of templates — the post-war Bretton Woods order, the nuclear condominium, the East India Company as corporate sovereign, the failed Baruch Plan — and the AGI transition will likely rhyme with one of them, whether that's a state absorbing its labs, a US–China duopoly, an international consortium, or labs becoming powers in their own right.
• The mentee and I will map these candidate power-sharing structures, work out which transition conditions make each one likely, and analyze whose interests get written into each settlement and whose get left out — including those with no bargaining power at all.

The result is a short report preferably with easily digestible visuals plus a set of observable early signs for telling which structure is actually taking shape. If the mentee has Python, we can extend this with LLM-agent simulations of the bargaining game itself.
